At the terminus of extended stalks, Passiflora Mollissima, or Banana Passion Fruit, reveals strikingly beautiful bright pink flowers. With a diameter spanning 5-10 cm, these large blooms grace the plant, initiating their display when the vine attains one year of age. The flowering spectacle unfolds from April to August, drawing the attention of numerous insects and birds, although honeybees take the lead as the primary pollinators.
Despite their impressive appearance, the fragrance emitted by these flowers is delicately subtle.
